We have an exceptional opportunity for a Maintenance Reliability Manager to join the nation's largest integrated manufacturer of recycled paperboard and converted paperboard products.  We need a strong Maintenance Leader to Improve the productivity and work quality of the Maintenance Department.  Main tasks included eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling and coordination of manpower, parts and materials, and equipment access.  The end game is to improve reliability through precision maintenance practices. Duties

  • Managers the completion of corrective and preventive and predictive maintenance (PM,PdM)
  • Integrates these PMs into the daily plans of the plant.
  • Understand the ideals of precision maintenance, precision assembly.
  • Train the maintenance team to eliminate errors in our repairs.
  • Coordinates projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling.
  • Ensures major equipment and furnishings are maintained in a safe, operable condition.
  • Works with all departments to schedule projects and/or develop project scope.
  • Coordinates all PM/TPM activities with plant supervisors.
  • Evaluates long-term needs in relation to major projects / improvements, and makes recommendations to Management.
  • Updates and improves equipment records in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including:
  • o   Entering work orders
  • o   Entering existing and new equipment
  • o   Organizing the hierarchy of the equipment
  • o   Update equipment change outs; closing completed work orders
  • o   Entering safety documents and SOP that will be linked to the work orders
  • o   Create and maintain maintenance spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure availability of critical spares to support operational efficiency
  • Arranges or provides training for the team
  • Participates in complex-wide safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement programs
  • Ensures that high standards of safety are developed and met. 
  • Create an atmosphere of personal accountability.

Qualifications

  •  Technical Degree, Associate’s Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree required.
  •  5+ years’ experience in all phases of industrial equipment maintenance.
  •  Reliability Solutions training
  • Previous maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing plant
  •  Skilled with work order systems, planning and scheduling, and storeroom processes.
  •  Exceptional organizational and planning skills
  • Can read standard blueprints, machine and process drawings with the ability to sketch or redline existing drawings.
  •  Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects and keep them progressing to completion.
  •  Can estimate labor hours, material requirement and skills needed to complete a job
  • Must be able to visualize and communicate the execution of work.
  •  Must be able to practice time management skills.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  •  Have good math skills and computer skills including Excel and CMMS
  • Ability to adhere to healthy safety practices.
  •  Professional certifications  / training are a plus
  • Advanced education is a plus
