This Supervisor specializes in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Controls. You will lead and train a team of 15 hourly maintenance employees. Responsible for the timely completion of planned and unplanned projects to meet operation and production goals.   • Lead a team of 15 Electrical or Instrumentation Techs.
  • Influence operating budget of $10 million to $15 million.
  • Ensure repairs on planned and emergency projects/jobs are done correctly.
  • Work with outage planning/completion.
  • Monitor department spending to stay within established budget.
  • Implement new procedures and technology to improve reliability of equipment.
  • Appraising performance, recognizing and disciplining employees, addressing employee issues, and resolving problems.
  • Oversee employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules appropriate for the unit.
  • Audit EH&S practices to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with Federal and State standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement and professional growth to build organizational capability.
  • Proactively identify and resolve safety hazards.


  • AS Degree and 5+ Years Instrumentation / Electrical / Controls Related Experience.  WIll consider more senior experience / training
  • Must have 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Calibrate And Trouble-Shoot Various Technical Instruments. 
  • Technical Knowledge Of Designing And Troubleshooting Relay Logic
  • Familiar With High Voltage And Power Distribution
  • Possess Basic Mechanical Skills
  • Programming Skills (Plc Programming, Ladder Logic, And Programming Languages). 
  • Design And Troubleshoot Relay Logic
  • Familiar With High Voltage And Power Distribution
  • Will Construct And Proactively Maintain DCS. 
  • Troubleshoot Circuits
  • Telemetering Pulse And Radio Controls
    Diagnose Equipment And System Malfunctions
  • Test Motor Starters, VFD's, And Soft Starts. 
  • Complete Minor Repairs To Motor Services. 
  • Experiences With DCS Systems, Foxboro IA, is a plus 
  • Chemical Plant / Refinery experience is a plus
  • Advanced Education Is A Plus
  • Professional Training / Certifications Are A Plus
